SUNTORY 2020年鼠年「生肖威士忌」即將上市！鼠像徵靈性，機靈和性能通靈亦像徵生命力強。
鼠之所以排在生肖榜上的第一位主要有三個原因：
一是民間傳說故事中的生肖排列。
二是中國古代學者從古代晝夜十二時辰的角度解說地支和肖獸的配屬關係。
三是按中國人信陰陽的觀念，將十二種動物分為陰陽兩類，動物的陰與陽是按動物足趾的奇偶參差排定的。動物的前後左右足趾數一般是相同的，而鼠獨是前足四，後足五，奇偶同體，物以稀為貴，當然排在第一。
在中國，老鼠是俠義的化身，在古典名著《三俠五義》中就有五位以鼠冠名的英雄，鑽天鼠盧方、徹地鼠韓彰、穿山鼠徐慶、翻江鼠蔣平、錦毛鼠白玉堂。

深懂市場營銷的日本酒廠，10月底在大阪的 SUNTORY 山崎蒸溜所向記者公開生產線現場，可以看到工作人員逐一製作及檢查，在鼠型陶器中注入了該品牌的「ROYAL」威士忌後，用人手逐支貼上封條，接著仔細地清潔及入箱。
生肖威士忌由1982年開始推出，因為好意頭所以每年都大人氣。為了2020年的鼠年，使用了鼠型的美濃燒樽，再畫上松竹梅的圖案。600毫升裝，限量生產16800支，11月初將開始發售，隨著日本威士忌大流行，恐怕又是一樽難求！
