「山崎」文字Logo是由當時首席調酒師佐治敬三所設計。仔細看會發現山崎的「奇」與「壽」相似，這個字包含三得利的前身「壽屋」代代相傳的理念。
都說威士忌的風味很大程度來自木桶，而”傳統”的木桶一般是美洲白橡木波本及雪莉桶和歐洲的橡木雪莉桶，這些橡木桶賦予威士的蜜餞，乾果，巧克力，堅果及香草等的”傳統”風味。
山崎單一純麥威士忌在千年古城及郊區的氣候下釀造出傳奇。酒廠近年在國際比賽中贏得了很高的聲譽，更享有“貴族”之稱。1984年，山崎蒸餾場誕生60周年時所誕生，是日本第一支，也是最具代表性的單一純麥威士忌。來自日本獨有的日本橡木桶(Japanese Oak，水楢)的淡雅，呈現出日本神社的氛圍，口感香氣帶著淡淡伽羅、日本線香的氣息，口感腹郁，迷人的果香與濃郁的麥芽香氣，餘味悠長。2002年時獲得ISC國際酒類競賽金牌獎肯定，是品酒行家難以錯過的佳釀。

山崎12渡邊美樹和民限定是一款山崎12年特別版，由雪莉桶陳釀的威士忌，660ml特殊規格裝瓶，日本國內限量發行，市面很少見。渡邊美樹是日本連鎖餐飲業巨頭「和民居食屋」的創始人，財富位居日本富豪榜前五，著名的威士忌品鑑家。這款山崎蒸餾所的渡邊美樹特選桶，共有兩個版本。
2007年首次上市的稱為「Watami President Choice」，和民總裁之選，渡邊退休後，這款酒改名為「Watami Founder’s Choice」，和民創辦人之選。現已絕版。

The company headquarters is located in Osaka Prefecture Osaka Osaka Kitajima Bang 2 Chome 1 40. The company was founded in 1921, its predecessor is bird wells Shinoji founded in 1899 bird wells shop. When Shouwu was founded in early 1921, it was officially renamed as Suntory in 1967. Since then, the company has been focusing on alcoholic beverage such as whiskey and beer until 1980.
