經過幾年的發展，現在的秩父已經是世界上知名的小型獨立蒸餾廠，而肥土伊知郎本人也成了威士忌界知名的人物。可能有人會葡萄肥土伊知郎及秩父的成功都是拜羽生的餘威所賜，是一個成功需父幹的典型例子，不過看深一層，肥土伊知郎當年是幾經波折才能把羽生的舊酒買下來裝樽發售，還把自己的秩父管理得有聲有色，他個人的努力是不可抹殺的，絕非是在陽光燦爛的環境呷一口茶般的苦幹。
Ichiro Akuto is the founder of the Chichibu distillery and one of the most respected distillers in Japan, but also an experienced blender. Ichiro’s Malt WineWood Reserve is a blend of malt whisky from Chichibu and the closed Hanyu distillery (in decreasing amounts over the years), but also Scotch whisky.
而另一方面，秩父的作風一如它的母公司Venture Whisky的名字一樣，是一間勇於冒險，勇於創新，會嘗試用不同的方法去蒸餾及陳釀威士忌的蒸餾廠，像是以清酒桶去陳釀，以不同地方出產的大麥麥芽作原料等等，目的都是為了能夠製造出更好的威士忌及摸索秩父威士忌獨特的風格。
After the distillery was dismantled in 2004,
he saved around 400 casks.
In 2008 he opened a new distillery named Chichibu,
and this Double Distilleries is a vatting of both whiskies:
sherry matured Hanyu and Chichibu new-make from
a Japanese oak cask.
在2010年生產了一批以紅葉,金葉,綠葉,名為Ichiro’s Malt 的麥芽威士忌，及白葉、褐葉的調和威士忌。這批酒中加入了適當比例的祖父所留下的400桶酒中的幾桶，更讓三代人的心血融合為一。

Wine Wood Reserve 由秩父、羽生及蘇格蘭威士忌調和而成，而且曾放置在法國葡萄酒桶作熟成，香氣及入口均帶有豐富怡人，亦有陣陣朱古力及橙皮香。
This is one of the famous blended malt products from Ichiro Akuto. When he started the Chichibu Distillery in japan he brought with him the entire old stock from then closed distillery Hanyu. This is a blended malt made up from single malt produced at Chichibu and Hanyu. The Ichiro’s Malt Wine Wood Reserve is finished in unspecified wine casks.
Chichibu Distillery is owned by Venture Whisky and was founded by Ichiro AKUTO, grandson of the founder of the now-closed Hanyu distillery. The distillery started its operations in 2008 and has been making single malt whisky influenced by the local climate.
Wine Wood Reserve is a pure malt whisky, which consists of Chichibu, Hanyu and also Scotch Whisky. This rare expression was aged in French wine barrels and is characterized by a complex taste and fruity notes, with bitter chocolate and orange peel.
